Helloooo world! So I'm finally blogging here again after 6 months of updating our "
excellent adventure", it's been awhile, I've seen a bit more of Earth, but glad to be back in the Hunter... We saw some pretty incredible places on our whirl-wind holiday of the Americas, so to ease back into blogging, I'm listening to Paul Kelly's greatest hits and rounding up my favourite photos from blogworld in memory of our roadtrip around the USA desert where we stayed in cheap motels, hung out at the Sourdough Saloon in Beatty Nevada, and chatted with a Navajo guy who made incredible jewellery and dream catchers tht he sold on the side of the road on the way to the Grand Canyon....
First up is
Spell and the Gypsy Collective ... an amazing amazing blog, from what I can gather, these girls hail from up near Byron Bay, and put together beautiful jewellery, clothes, shoes and some decorative items....
Delighfully Tacky has always been a go-to read for me, I like Elizabeth's quirky, honest, personal posts about everything and anything...I was so keen to visit Tacoma when we did our road-trip because she made it sound like such a great place to drop by and try different micro-brews and ride bikes around... unfortunately the weather was incredibly awful when were in the area- the Arctic temperatures we had received while in Whistler pushed all the snow down Seattle way and the whole of washington and oregon seemed to be at a standstill... but here's a couple of photos that helped inspire our roadtrip around the states.
